Background Information on Carolyn:
Carolyn moved to Oak
Ridge in 1985 with her husband David and son Josh.
Prior to that, she had taught school in Blount County Schools since she
graduated college in 1973. Her husband had worked at the Y-12 plant in Oak Ridge since 1977 and thought Oak Ridge would be a good move for the family. When Carolyn received herM.S. Degree in
Guidance & Counseling, her family made the move. Carolyn has taught a
variety of grades and subjects in grades K-8 in her 32 years of teaching and
counseling elementary students at the K-8 level. She began her career in 1985
at Linden in Oak Ridge as a third grade teacher and as a Special
Education counselor for CDC (Comprehensive Development Classes).
Interests:
Carolyn and David are also very much involved with church
work. They love working with children, youth, young adults, and different
ministries their church offers to help different people in the community, different
parts of the state, the United
States, and around the world.
